Daydreaming about what might have happened if the Ner-a-car had caught on. With its hub center steering and feet forwards layout, it was way ahead of its time.

Not identical, but getting there...

I would be absolutely terrified to get on that.

Here at OPPOsitelock, we pride ourselves on being on the cutting edge of jokes. Oh wait. So wrong. Just dry sarcasm and dick jokes.

I’m beginning to despise you.
Honestly, I should have known someone would say that.

There was quite interesting concept in Akira manga/movie. Several real life version have been tried but all look a bit goofy.

So like a recumbent sort of. Interesting.

I’ve thought about this as well. We have recumbent bicycles. Why not recumbent motorcycles?

Anything that is that low, with feet that far forward, is not something easily balanced at a stop with the pilot’s feet down. Even if the pegs or floorboards don’t preclude putting feet down, the angle of the legs and knees, and the low seat height puts legs at a disadvantage.
That is more than a cruiser or chopper, and frankly, would be better suited as a reverse trike.
Sort of like a combination of CanAm Spyder F3’s astride seat, and Morgan 3-wheeler’s vintage style. And if it leans, all the better.
Oh, yeah... that is how the Morgan Cyclecar started out...
What I think might be even more interesting would be a supine position leaning-suspension reverse trike.

I have a feeling that’s why the original ner-a-car was a lightweight machine. I’ve seen a few scooters that are sort of similar. I think as long as it’s not super heavy it would not be a big problem.
